Terms and Conditions

These terms form the agreement between you and Apollo Entertainment Ltd. Opening an account means accepting them.

Effective date: 1 September 2026 · Last updated: 1 September 2026

Two conditions apply to everything on this site: you must be 19 or older, and you must be physically located in Ontario while you play. Neither is negotiable, and both are verified.

1. The operator

This site, ontariocaptaincooks.casino, is operated by Apollo Entertainment Ltd, company registration C 45483, registered office 8, Villa Seminia, Suite 2, Sir Temi Zammit Avenue, Ta' Xbiex XBX 1011, Malta.

Apollo Entertainment Ltd is regulated by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and operates pursuant to an agreement with iGaming Ontario. The Internet Gaming Operator registration number is OPIG1246857.

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “the operator” mean Apollo Entertainment Ltd. “You” means the account holder. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, form the whole agreement between us.

2. Age restriction — 19+

You must be at least 19 years of age to open an account, to deposit and to play. Ontario sets the minimum gambling age at 19, not 18, and it applies without exception.

Your date of birth is verified against a government-issued identity document. Where an account is found to belong to a person under 19, it will be closed, deposits will be returned by the original payment method where lawfully possible, and any winnings will be void.

Allowing a person under 19 to use your account is a breach of these terms and grounds for closure.

3. Ontario location requirement

You must be physically located within the Province of Ontario at the time you play for real money. Residency in Ontario is not sufficient on its own.

Your location is verified when you log in and while you play, using signals from your device and network connection. Where your location cannot be confirmed as being within Ontario, real-money play will be unavailable until it can be.

This site is intended for the Ontario market only. It is your responsibility to satisfy yourself that using it is lawful where you are.

4. Registering and holding an account

You may hold one account only. Duplicate accounts may be closed and any winnings arising from them may be void.

The information you provide at registration must be accurate, complete and your own. You must keep it up to date, and you must notify us if your address or contact details change.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity on your account. Accounts are personal and may not be sold, transferred or shared. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.

5. Identity verification (KYC)

We are required to verify the identity and age of every account holder. You agree to provide, on request, a valid government-issued photo identity document, confirmation of your residential address, and confirmation of ownership of any payment method used.

Verification may be requested at registration, before a withdrawal, or at any point where we are required to carry it out. Until verification is complete, we may restrict deposits, play or withdrawals.

Providing false, altered or another person’s documents is fraud, will result in the account being closed, and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

6. Anti-money laundering and source of funds

We are subject to anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing obligations, including reporting obligations to the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC) where the applicable thresholds and criteria are met.

We may ask you to explain the source of funds used on your account and to provide supporting evidence. We may decline, delay or reverse a transaction, and may suspend an account, where we have reasonable grounds to do so under these obligations.

7. Geolocation checks

By using the site you consent to geolocation checks being carried out on your device for the purpose of confirming that you are within Ontario. Details of what is collected and how it is handled are set out in the Privacy Policy.

Interfering with, blocking or falsifying these checks is a breach of these terms.

8. Deposits

Accounts are denominated in CAD. Deposits may be made using the methods offered within your account at the time of the transaction.

Payment methods must be in your own name. Third-party deposits are not accepted and may be returned or forfeited.

We do not charge a fee on deposits. Your bank, card issuer or wallet provider may apply its own charges, including treating a transaction as a cash advance; those charges are a matter between you and that provider.

Deposits are subject to any limits you have set on your account, and to any limits we apply.

9. Withdrawals

Withdrawals are requested from within your account and are, as a rule, returned to the payment method used to deposit.

Before a withdrawal is processed we may require: confirmation of the payment method used, a document confirming your identity, and confirmation of your residential address. Further checks may be carried out under KYC and fraud-prevention requirements.

Processing times begin when a withdrawal is approved, not when it is requested. We may decline a withdrawal where verification is incomplete, where these terms have been breached, or where we are required to do so by law or by the regulator.

10. Player funds

Funds held in your account are held separately from the operator’s own working capital, in accordance with the standards applicable to registered Ontario operators.

Money in your account is not a deposit in the banking sense, does not earn interest, and is held for the purpose of play and withdrawal only. Accounts may not be used as a means of transferring funds between persons.

Where an account is inactive for an extended period, we may notify you at your registered address and deal with the balance in accordance with applicable law and our published procedure.

11. Placing bets and taking part in games

A bet is accepted when it is recorded on our systems. The record on our systems is the authoritative record of play, of outcomes and of balances.

Each game is governed by its own rules and information screen, including stake limits and the theoretical return to player. Return to player figures are long-run theoretical averages calculated over very large numbers of rounds; they are not a prediction of any individual session.

Outcomes are determined by random number generators tested by independent laboratories, or by a live dealer in a studio. No sequence of previous results affects a future one.

12. Technical faults and errors

Where a game, a bet or a payout is affected by a technical fault, a malfunction, an error in the odds or payout table, or a failure of the platform or a game supplier, the affected round or rounds may be void.

Where a round is void, stakes are returned and any winnings arising from the fault may be reversed. Where a disconnection occurs, the outcome recorded on our systems stands.

We are not liable for faults in your own device, software or internet connection.

13. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  • open or use more than one account, or use another person’s account;
  • allow anyone under 19 to access your account;
  • provide false, incomplete or another person’s identity information or documents;
  • use a payment method that is not your own;
  • use any automated system, bot, script or artificial intelligence to place bets or interact with games;
  • exploit a fault, error or loophole in a game or on the platform rather than reporting it;
  • collude with other players or with any employee of the operator;
  • use the account for any purpose other than personal entertainment, including money laundering or the transfer of funds.

14. VPN, proxy and circumvention

The use of a VPN, proxy server, remote desktop, virtual machine, DNS manipulation or any other technology intended to disguise your location or to bypass geographic restrictions is prohibited.

Where we identify or reasonably suspect such use, we may suspend or close the account, void affected bets and withhold associated winnings pending investigation.

15. Suspension and closure of an account

We may suspend or close an account where: verification cannot be completed; these terms are breached; we are required to do so by law, by the regulator or by a court; there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, collusion or money laundering; the account holder is found to be under 19; or the account holder is self-excluded.

You may close your account at any time by contacting support@ontariocaptaincooks.casino. Where an account is closed and no lawful reason exists to withhold them, remaining funds are returned to you through a verified payment method.

Closing an account is not the same as self-exclusion. If your reason for closing is your gambling, use BetGuard self-exclusion, which covers every regulated Ontario operator.

16. Responsible gambling

Gambling is entertainment, not a way to make money. You accept that all games carry a mathematical advantage to the house and that money staked may be lost.

Deposit limits, loss limits, session limits, reality checks and cooling-off periods are available from your account at any time. A request to tighten a limit takes effect immediately. A request to relax or remove a limit is subject to a waiting period before it takes effect.

We may impose limits on an account, or restrict or close it, where we have reasonable grounds to believe that continued play is causing harm.

17. Self-exclusion

Self-exclusion in Ontario operates through BetGuard, the centralised programme run by iGaming Ontario. Registering with BetGuard excludes you from every operator in the regulated Ontario market for the term you choose: 30 days, 6 months, 1 year, 5 years or permanently.

A self-exclusion takes effect immediately. Your account is closed to real-money play, any remaining balance is returned to you, and marketing communications stop.

A self-exclusion cannot be cancelled before its term ends. When a fixed term expires the account does not reopen automatically; reinstatement must be requested and a further period may apply. A permanent self-exclusion cannot be reversed.

Details are on the Responsible Gambling page, at betguard.ca or on 1-833-776-7171.

18. Promotions and bonuses

Where a promotion is offered, it is governed by its own terms, which are made available with the offer and form part of these terms for anyone who takes it up. Those terms will state any wagering requirement, qualifying games, stake restrictions, time limits and maximum conversion.

Promotional offers are made available only in accordance with the AGCO’s advertising and marketing standards, which restrict how inducements, bonuses and credits may be communicated in Ontario. We may withdraw an offer, or withhold it from an account, where it is being abused.

19. Complaints

Complaints should be sent to support@ontariocaptaincooks.casino with your username, the dates concerned and the outcome you are seeking. We will acknowledge within 2 business days and respond within 10 business days. If our response does not resolve the matter, you may ask for it to be escalated internally for a final written response, which will carry a complaint reference number. If you remain dissatisfied after that response, or if 90 days have passed since you first raised the complaint with us, you may submit it to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario through the iAGCO portal. The AGCO assesses compliance with the Registrar’s Standards; it does not act as a dispute resolution service and cannot order the return of funds.

20. Liability

The site and its games are provided on an “as is” basis. We do not warrant that access will be uninterrupted or free of error.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss arising from your own breach of these terms, or for losses incurred in the ordinary course of gambling.

21. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms, for example to reflect changes in law, in regulatory requirements or in how the service operates. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated.

Where a change is material we will notify account holders by email or on signing in. Continuing to use the account after a change takes effect indicates acceptance.

22. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it. You and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

Gambling on this site is conducted and managed by iGaming Ontario and is regulated by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
